What made you choose interior design as a career?
From a young age, I have always been into design/decor. I always rearranged my bedroom. My mom could tell stories of her coming home from work to the furniture in a different arrangement than when she left. I even remember helping my parents pick out the fabric for their new sectional when I was in middle school. In high school, I took an interior design and fashion class where I learned that this could be a career.
What is the design tip you just can't stress enough?
One design tip I cannot stress enough: an area rug should ground the space. The area rug doesn't need to take up most of the flooring.
Name one thing on your bucket list and why.
One thing on my bucket list is to visit every state. I want to explore and see how beautiful our country is.
